Supernova got a makeover from head to toe, but this is more than just a fresh new look. We completely rebuilt the design system management platform in React, so we can better enable your teams to build better products, faster.

New and improved user experience

With the all-new Supernova 2.0 platform, everything is faster, more reliable, and more efficient. We introduced a new navigation system and architecture to make it easier to interact with your design system.

Use the sidebar to immediately jump to documentation, design tokens, components, or assets pages. Plus, the new detail drawer lets you update your tokens and component details without switching between pages. The design data import and code automation workflows have also been streamlined, so it’s more clear what you’re connecting with Supernova.

Pushing the boundaries of Supernova

Building Supernova 2.0 in React means that we can now optimize and ship faster and expand in ways that weren't possible before. This means long-awaited feature requests are in the pipeline, and more importantly, major breakthroughs are available now. For starters, we're very excited to be introducing multiplayer documentation editing to push collaboration to the next level.

Collaborate in real-time with multiplayer documentation editing

A core tenet of design systems is deepening collaboration within your team. With documentation being the connective tissue of your design system, it only makes sense that you and your team can work together in real-time. With Supernova 2.0, your entire team can work together on your documentation.

You'll be able to see who's working on the same page as you and who's working on other pages from the sidebar. Everyone’s updates are saved and synced automatically, so you don't have to worry about overriding or losing any work. Try it now!

Access information from anywhere with an all-new global command menu

Design systems are all about connecting design and engineering information. No one wants to waste time clicking different links and buttons to find what they’re looking for.

With the new global command menu, you can find any part of your design system and Supernova workspace in an instant. Just hit CMD or CTRL + K and start typing.
