Supernova's Seed Round and Our New Design Token Manager

Greetings, Supernova community!

I am incredibly excited to unveil our latest round of funding, a $4.8M seed round led by Wing Venture Capital, with participation from EQT Ventures and Kaya VC, who join our earliest supporters from Credo Ventures and Y Combinator. We are pleased to work with our newest partners, who have long histories of data-driven theses and enterprise expertise. We are also proud to welcome amazing angels, including Sara Varni (CMO of Attentive and ex-CMO of Twilio) and the Expedite Ventures syndicate of European CTOs and CPOs, who have first-hand experience with the issues that Supernova seeks to solve.

When we started Supernova almost five years ago, our goal was to make handling data between design and development simpler and more accessible. Now, we dream of teams working without artificial boundaries and are marching towards our mission to make design systems easier for all.

In an effort to make that dream a reality, the above Supernova team (we have doubled in size this year!) and I are pleased to officially reveal our next generation design token manager!  You can now connect, manage, document, and deliver your design tokens better and faster. We’ve also added support for Tokens Studio (Formerly Figma Tokens Plugin) and themes to really push your design systems to the next level.

This maturation of the workflow enables teams to focus on creating wonderful customer experiences and spending less time coordinating design and code fundamentals.

The additional funding will help us deliver faster than ever on our mission, via more solutions similar to our new design token manager and by expanding our team. We recognize that no company is the same, and our platform must further support enterprise needs and complexities.
